Learn Immigration Law at the CUNY School of Professional Studies (SPS)
With 40% of New Yorkers born in other countries, professionals in the workforce development field are faced with immigrant employment and family issues on a regular basis. A growing number of case managers, social workers, community advocates, government officials and others are turning to SPS to learn about the complex and ever-changing field of immigration law and regulation from practicing lawyers and judges. SPS's Advanced Certificate in Immigration Law Studies offers a unique opportunity for those working with immigrants - and their employers and families - to understand laws and regulations governing immigration and citizenship, how to comply with rapidly evolving immigration policies, how to file petitions and applications, and more. Classes are available for graduate credit or on a non-credit basis. Click here for more information on course offerings, schedules or earning a certificate.
