Our first session “Industry Needs: The State of Queens” included an update from local business leaders on their respective communities and strategies being undertaken to keep businesses open and workers employed. Speakers included Seth Bornstein, Executive Director of Queens Economic Development Corporation; Thomas Grech, President & CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce; Hope Knight, President & CEO of Jamaica Development Corporation; Elizabeth Lusskin, President of Long Island City Partnership; and James Parrott, Director of Economic and Fiscal Policies at the Center for New York City Affairs at The New School.
