Energy Efficiency Employer Coalition Kick-Off Meeting

September 15, 2026

The Energy Efficiency Employer Coalition (EEEC) is convened by New York City Employment and Training Coalition (NYCETC) and The Green Launchpad (TGL) and had 11 members companies in year 1. Given the success of the Coalition’s pilot year, and with additional support from the Robin Hood foundation and continued support from the Con Edison Foundation, the coalition is poised to grow in size and impact to 20 employers for year 2.  In year 2, the EEEC will:
  • Define additional standard job titles and tracks, including job descriptions for currently in-demand positions across implementation contractors (their own needs and their subcontractors’)
  • Develop standardized career (progression) pathways, including education, experience, and credentialing requirements for advancement
  • Guide companies to map On-The-Job Training (OJT) plans for entry-level positions
  • Establish direct connections to training providers and qualified candidate pools
  • Streamline access to workforce development resources, hiring incentives, and funding
