Our second session “Industry Needs: The State of Brooklyn + Staten Island” included an update from local business leaders on their respective communities and strategies being undertaken to keep businesses open and workers employed. Speakers included David Ehrenberg, President & CEO of the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation; Brian Licata, Membership Relations Manager at the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce; Regina Myer, President of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership; Randy Peers, President and CEO of Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce; and James Parrott, Director of Economic and Fiscal Policies at Center for New York City Affairs at The New School.
