This rally is to urge Mayor de Blasio and the New York City Council to increase investments for workforce development training providers through a. the following Council initiatives: (1) Bridge Program for Workforce Development; (2) Digital Inclusion and Literacy Initiative; and (3) Job Training and Placement Initiative; and b. the development of a workforce and economic recovery plan to tackle the scale of unemployment and business loss that New York City is facing.
