As Coordinator for Events and Operations at NYCETC, MJ handles the strategic planning of our workforce event agenda and the administrative management of our internal systems. MJ holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College CUNY. She’s focused their work in the areas of youth development, education accessibility, and community organizing. MJ has worked in the program management of various initiatives at several NYC based non-profits and institutions, including the Hispanic Federation and El Museo Del Barrio. She immigrated from Colombia as a child and is proud to call New York City their home. They have dedicated their career to the people of this City and are thrilled to continue to do so at NYCETC.
